“When we build stability from within, everything else becomes possible — in movement, in health, and in life.”
Barbara Morini
Barbara Morini has dedicated nearly four decades to helping people live healthier, more balanced lives — both physically and mentally. Her journey began as a professional dancer after graduating from the Classical Ballet Academy Cosi-Stefanescu in Reggio Emilia, Italy, leading to an international career that shaped her deep understanding of the body, movement, and performance under pressure.
This foundation led her to become a Certified Pilates Instructor and movement educator. She spent over a decade in Milan as the owner of To Be Studio Pilates, working with a wide range of clients including dancers, athletes, executives, and individuals of all ages. Her work earned recognition across major Italian television networks and leading wellness publications.
In 2016, Barbara moved to Montclair, New Jersey, where she opened To Be Pilates and built a strong community centered on mindful movement and long-term wellness. She also began leading immersive wellness retreats in Italy, combining movement, restoration, and cultural experience.
Today, Barbara is focused on expanding her impact through teaching, mentoring, and the development of the Morini Method — an integrated approach that brings together movement, mindset, and lifestyle practices. She is also a certified Life Coach, supporting clients in creating lasting change both physically and mentally.
A Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, Barbara has completed advanced training with The MELT Method®, the American Institute of Reboundology, Cardiolates®, and Bellicon®, and has trained more than 250 instructors internationally. She has also expanded her work into sound healing, further deepening her holistic approach.
Her philosophy, Mobility Through Stability, reflects her belief that breath, strong foundations, and intelligent movement are key to long-term health and performance.
